Good morning, I have an iAUDIO 5 and I would like to know if it is possible to eliminate de beep which sounds when I turn it off.
I use it when I go to sleep and I set the function time sleep, that makes it turn off after some minutes, but when it turns off, it beeps and wake me up. I am very interested on eliminating that beep, is it possible?, how? Thank you very much. |

I have my i5 since more than one year. So far I haven't found any possibility to turn off the beep. Also I found nothing in the manual. So I think that it is not possible.

Two years old i5 here, same answer as above, the Cowon assistance confirmed me this a while ago.
Have a nice day. |

This is something I contacted Cowon about soon after purchasing a G3 last year. Their reply was that is is not possible to shut off the beep on G3, I5, or U2. Apparently you just have to learn to live with it.

Hmm, I first thought that this was a big fault by COWON, then I had another thought. What exactly are you listening too before it turns off, whale sounds?
The music I listen to is not exactly conducive to sleep. |

I have had numerous Eclipse head units which I could turn off and on the beep when buttons were pressed.
For the life of me I can not figure out how to do so on my Eclipse AVN 726E. Anyone tell me how to do so? Thanks in advance |
