Repair Costs

My X5L left channel line in recording has gone missing, already tried a couple of sub packs it looks like it's connector specific. So I got an RMA from Cowon USA to return for repair. Anyone can give me a heads up on costs, do they charge for looking at it, sending it back etc.

Just trying to gauge if it's cheaper to buy another one on ebay or get my unit repaired.
