I've loved the D2 but my ears are rebelling against headphones. I can't listen even at settings too low to reproduce the music well.....besides I want a new turntable.
![]() Thanks for everything! |

What do you mean?
![]() My ears don't like earphones either. I have a tinnitus for 5 years and I ripped my eardrum open yesterday in martial arts training. ![]() I can't use earphones for at least 2 weeks, my doctor said... ![]()

So long TRADDAD - it's been fun on this forum, but I guess it's coming to an end now. Time to ride off into the sunset - might see you over at deafoldgitsandtheirbloodyhifi.org

I used to play my music louder but once you experience an acute hearing loss and are deaf for 12 hours you'll start paying more attention!
![]() But, hell, volume 31 for in-ear headphones is crazy! ![]() I usually set the volume to 12 because my Sennheisers have a volume control which I never max out. I find the default iAudio earplugs to be comfortable at around 10. ![]() Maybe your firmware handles the volume differently - at least I hope so for your ears! ![]()

Same with my Denon AH-C551... P.S. But I have high settings on the equalizer (that in fact "higher the volume" of those frequencies), so that must be taken in consideration.
