Finished UCI Themes: No Other Posts

Please post finished UCI themes here.

What we would like to do here is to build an easy to navigate catalogue of various S9 UCI themes.

Some guidelines:

- Please do not post here unless you are posting a theme, any other posts will be deleted without prior warning. If you have questions to ask, ask them in this other thread

- Please include a name for your theme.

- If at all possible it would be good if you could upload at least one screenshot of your theme.

- Please include a brief description of your theme.

- Instructions on how to install are optional, but we would appreciate if you could include them anyway, especially if there are specific steps to be taken.

I would just like to reiterate that posting any non-theme posts will result in those posts being deleted, continuous reposting of non-theme posts will certainly earn you a slap on the wrist as we can only assume that you have read and ignored this post.

I hope to see lots of pretty/functional themes being posted, and I'm looking forward to all the talent being shown off

My first UCI.
Metallic Browser


It has a white,silver, black look.
Bookmark is bugged for some reason and I'm not the only one have troubles with this.
I changed only the color, so nothing special (although I did change the green scroll to a dark red scroll)

1. Download it
2. Unzip it
3. rename browser_total_1 to browser_total. So get rid of the _1.
4. Drop it to :/System/ Flash UI

Here's an updated version of the music UI I posted before and also a browser UI that rotates.

Music UI - controls in landscape mode.
Browser pivot UI - browser in landscape mode.

Auto pivot works in both and pivot locking is available in the music landscape mode.
Note that you cannot go into the bookmark list in landscape mode as I can't figure out the bugs when I try to implement it.

(Original portrait views are unchanged)

Edit: New Music UI v2.1 now saves pivot lock after exiting music mode.

Was procrastinating getting work done this weekend so I whipped up this custom main menu. Most of the changes are purely graphical although a programmer buddy of mine made some changes for me. It always bugged me that the icons were activated on "release" instead of "press" - made the buttons kinda squirrely. So now the icons are on "press" although they also play through the press animation before navigating away. The icons are also not tied to specific areas which will enable me to do some pretty cool stuff in the future- truely totally customizable. Sweet!
Just copy and paste the attached swf into your System>Flash UI folder and it should be good to go. If you like your main menu the way it is you can rename the swf mainmenu2.swf.
I'm looking forward to creating more themes as my busy schedule allows. Anyway, hope you enjoy! Cheers!

Cute Theme by nOva


A P2 theme.
Has widget like icons that you can move wherever you want and lock them in place if you're satisfied with it.
Total of 3 screens.
Has options to put in 10 wallpapers (but have to get rid of the original ones)

Metallic Radio



Changed the knob to a more silver look.
Changed the yellow tuning fill in to a dark red one.
Play/Pause hardware doesn't work, so just use the touch icon.

Nothing special again, but color changes.

Based on the Buuf icon set (by http://mattahan.deviantart.com/). Wallpaper is mine.
Some changes : no more text under the icons, and I changed the source ; now the dictionnary icon is linked to the behaviour of the DMB one. If your settings are "no-DMB country", you won't have the dictionnary.

Haven't figured out yet how to make this specific to one theme so if you toggle between themes this will always show up as your music screen.

There is a bug in the original code that wipes out your presets if you toggle between regions. I recommend you just ignore that middle button on the main radio page. Also included an update to the mainmenu. Purely graphical and very minor (darkened the background).

Features:
- Vertical scrolling text-based theme
- Custom backgrounds (choice of 15)
- Custom font colors to match background (choice of 15)
- Custom headertext instead of 'COWON S9 Player'
- Add a little more awesome to your S9

Instructions:
- Use the top right button to switch between backgrounds or font colors.
- Use the bottom two buttons to change between themes.
- Unzip files in system/flash ui folder and change the images in the wallpaper folder (if you want your own background). Leave original filenames intact though. There's a max of 10 different backgrounds.
- Open uservars.txt and change the text *Insert Own Text Here* to anything you want and it'll replace the text at the top of the theme. When the uservars.txt file is not included it'll just show the standard Cowon S9 Player text.

Notes:
- When uservars.txt is not included the default headertext is 'COWON S9 Player' and the default number of backgrounds is 15.
- The Bluetooth button in the menulist doesn't work and never will (you get a pop-up), I might replace it with something more usefull later on (including a Bluetooth menu would make the menu too slow/big).
