Default Does Delete Even Work?

So when I try to delete a file, I keep getting a pop-up saying "Unable to Delete in Music Library" (or something along those lines).

How can I get that working?

Maybe you are trying to delete an audio file browsing by tags? As far as I know, it only works when you reach the file/folder you want to delete from the "folders" menù, and if it doesn't work at the first attempt, it's because you must "activate" the "browse by folder" the first time, playing a song for a couple of seconds ...

Same to me. However, there was an overall improvement with 3.57, less complaints, more satisfied people. I think, upgrading the FW could not harm and may bring some improvement. Or wait for 3.58, it can just take few weeks.

I guess your right but right now the differences between 3.55 & 3.57 (That includes the 4.58/1.58 fixes) are not relevent for me and not worth the upgrade hassle.
I hope 3.58 will introduce some interesting imrovements/bug fixes that will make the upgrade worthwhile.

BTW, sorry for the off topic...

I'm not sure what you want to tell (and why at all). The recommendation to try FW 3.57 here was directed to the problem of the thread opener, who has problems with 3.55. It was not intended to be general although x.57 was by far the most stable and usable FW since I have my D2.

I misunderstood your post...
Anyway the answer to the OP question seems to have been answered on Lazarus post.
