Cowon D2 on The Gadget show on UK prime time TV

The D2 was reviewed on the Gadget show on Channel 4 the other day on prime time TV.

Needless to say it got an excellent review and they stated it was the best MP3 player they have ever heard and was also impressed with the battery and other features on offer.

Of course the UK version has a DAB radio option

Hopefully this will stop idiots asking me why I didnt buy an Iplod.

Hur...I love how the guy is using PX100s. Good balance to the D2's analytical nature :-)

I know, I got the shock of my life when I was watching it and he held a Cowon D2 in his hand before they started the feature, and so relieved when they pointed out the excellent sound quality of it, etc. I think it's the only 'mainstream' coverage the D2 will ever get! It'll never appear in Comet or Dixons etc, that's for sure....

I can't listen to any of my other DAPs anymore. The D2's sound quality has totally spoiled me.

I've just read that while listening to my D2 with my PX100's

A mate mentioned it to me last night at a gig as I'd missed the show. I think he might be getting one at some point...

yeah it was a cracking review the D2 got on the Gadget show , even I was impressed by how well it went down, as you expect the Ipod uber friendly media to get a bit confused with the - what no it Itunes, what do I do next ???

although on the website it does state as a negative

eh 8gb models & SD Card slot ! bit of sloppy research on their part .

Interesting to see the same show gave the new Iphone a bit of a roasting as well , with the Nokia N95 beating it hands down for the quality of the features and userability. I suspect then the sound quality of the Itouch ( being a close relative to the Iphone) won't even come close to the D2.

yeah , same guy . Feature they were doing were on "small gadgets " and how easy it would be for a large or small person to operate so they got a tall and short person to test them .

Great, COWON need some good marketing...i hate when people look at my D2 say something like "I have a iPod video, that is much better"......Lucky o have many things to say to defend my D2 so i dont have to hear it again.....
