Thank you very much, the top link says something along the lines of a problem with encoding the second video is very nice, but as someone said, not sure about the clicking sound when selecting things, but that should have an option to turn on or off, so no worries.
The third one is a cool addition, something we've not seen yet, but not overly interesting. But does look like it might be part of a set, with lots of different videos, so if you find the rest of a set, please please show us ![]() |

OK fixed the links and added even more videos!
http://www.dailymotion.com/omjeremy/video/3552915 (Video referenced above - shows great overview of the Q5) http://youtube.com/watch?v=o0dGbVMhr9g (Cowon Van - had to reupload onto YouTube... DailyMotion didn't work. Shows various usage including GPS. GPS is built in! Unsure if this feature will be in the America/Europe version.) http://www.dailymotion.com/omjeremy/video/3552945 (Q5 Startup and Shutdown with some interface activity) http://www.dailymotion.com/omjeremy/video/3557080 (Part 2 of Q5 Startup and Shutdown - Shows WiFi/browser usage!) http://www.dailymotion.com/omjeremy/video/3557172 (Yet another video... shows playback. Presumably from PMP Inside) Last edited by omjeremy; 05-29-2007 at 19:12.. |

^ v true. why not film menus and such, options and settings. call me boring but these are as important to me; to get an idea of what is available.
i guess people like filming movies playing. i still cant get over that lil pause when one skips through a vid. does this happen with the A2? |

Yeah it does a little bit, gotta catch up. The thing that worried me most was the loading time for photos on the Q5, in one of the videos, it shows someone on the photos menu and it takes longer than a film to display.

^ i hope so. taking a look at another video the web brownsing feature is laggy. it would do my head in.
ive noticed all the videos shown on the Q5 fit perfectly on the screen, is this because the Q5 auto fits the video? i hope there is a option for it to keep the origional aspect ratio of a video even if there are black bars on either sides of the screen. |

Yeah, everything in Windows CE is laggy! Try out the emulator and see. Even on a fast modern computer nothing is really smooth. It's just the software. Perhaps Version 6.0 would be better.
There is an option for changing the aspect ratio. I'm pretty sure that's what's going on in this video: http://www.dailymotion.com/omjeremy/video/3524717 |

Hess, if only i had the funds and the time. But you never know. Someday maybe.
Here are a few more pics: (ive made em thumbnails as the origionals are quite large) nothing special here though. ![]() ![]() OP @ http://board.cowon.com/zeroboard/zbo...u=C&category=# Surely you dont need that GPS dock for the GPS to work on the Q5. I would have thought the dock is just to hold the Q5 in, as well as charge it using the car as well as connecting to output speakers/easy to reach buttons etc.??? As for the International builds (uk/us etc) i dont think they will inc GPS function nor the encyclopedia. Last edited by addz; 05-30-2007 at 14:05.. |
