When I connect the player in recovery mode, the firmware update software says "Unable to write to device. Device timeout"
I've tried to unistall the U2, but it doesn't work... Any suggestion? (I've v1.50 Beta 1 and I want to put v1.68) |

Try first to install an older firmware version than 1.68. For example 1.65 or something else. 1.50 is very old, I'm almost shure you have first to go to a version between 1.50 and 1.68.
I know it from the iAudio U3: when the version on the player is 1.12 beta or lower, you must upgrade to the firmware 1.21 first. Just after that you are able to install the newest firmware version (actually 1.26). Why it only works this way, I don't know exactly. Maybe it's like a stairway: you can't move to top by leaving out the steps. Greez Paesc Last edited by Paesc; 03-02-2007 at 16:24.. |
