I just got a mail, MY 2 Cowon D2 is here!
Really fast I can´t belive that. i thought that it will arrive in the end of febuary

From a Swedish store. called "webhallen" it cost 2500 SEK its around 350 US dollar

yes, but thats the release price in sweden. Here in sweden the tax is high. VERY high comprared with other lands like the US

189 pounds in advancemp3players.co.uk (shipping included), they give out a free 4gb sd card with it, so you get 8gb insted of 4, mine is suppose to get here sometime this week, (im in spain)

It sounds like the tax wasnt deducted, you should have paid 166 pounds including shipping, as you dont live in England

yea, but i live inside the EU, so i have to pay local sales tax,
if i lived outside the EU, i could ask for a TAX free form to have the tax refunded,

My 2GB version + 4GB card was $360 in norway.... But at least when ordering from here the AC adapter works, and i'm covered by an excellent law so that i basically have a 2 year warranty on things like it breaking down by itself ++
Aslo just saved $45 on buying cx300's off ebay and not from norway so...

Tha manual says the ac adapter is 100-220v so all you need is a plug to change the prongs, my american one works fine here in Australia.
It doesnt actually say this on the adapter itself, but cowon are renown for supplying ac adapters without this on them. My a2 was like this too.

I must say I was hesitant in attaching the electricity, but it charged like normal.

No idea... eveything's expensive here The 160 GB archos 504 is the most expensive PMP i've seen here with its $800, while in the us it's about $550. Thats quite a difference
