Not sure if this has been posted before but I found this on UK eBay.
It says its 5V, which the A2 appears to be also? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Archos-Externa...QQcmdZViewItem Would it work with the A2? |

I'm sure it will. I'm powering/charging my A2 from a 5v stabilizer hooked up to the car battery when driving. Works just fine. As long as you supply ~5v to the ac/adapter input it should start charging the internal battery which should indeed extend your A2's battery life.
