Does anyone know how long the battery will last on the cowon before it wears out?And is there anywhere you can send it off to replace it.

10 hrs of video n' 18 hrs of music, this is info from cowon
But just like HDD memory, actual capacity is usually less. Mine is around 15-16 hrs of music, haven't tested it on video yet ![]()

Hey there, I think micksta is talking battery durability, not playback time.
I have no idea how long the battery is built to last, I hope we have at least a couple of years of good working quality. So far my unit is about 4 month old with heavy use and the battery still lasts as well as on the first day .Anyway, judging by the comments of several people who opened their A2, it seems clear that replacing the battery should not be a problem. |

Too many variables to be able to give an answer even if we had the specs I would say.
How often do you use your player, how many cycles, operating temperatures, etc.. Eric |

I would estimate about 2-3 years with regular use
