Default syncing with window media player

I have searched the forum and found out that you can sync your x5 with windows media player. But I still have a coupe questions unanswered:

1.) How are the songs organized on the x5 after you sync them (ex. If you have all the artists, albums, and titles will they be organized into folders or will it just be one long list?)

2.) How long does it take to sync one song? Is it fast like iTunes?

3.) Can you edit the id3 tag through windows media player?

THANKS!!!!!

1. the songs are put into artist and album folders automatically when you sync with WMP.
2. i'd say it takes about 10 seconds to sync one song. i haven't used iTunes but i'd say its not as fast because the usb host port is only usb 1.1 speed, not usb 2 unfortunately.
3. yes you can edit the id3 tag through WMP.

No I have the oldest firmware. The one that came with it right out of the box. If I do need the new firmware, is it worth upgrading??

well, if you want to do the DRM services on your X5 you need to upgrade the firmware to the latest one or else it won't work or be detected at all in WMP....so it is worth it in your case for sure

I cant get my computer to recognize my X5 with the usb host. On the X5 it says connected, but thats it. It used to say "ok to disconnect" but now it stays connected and no recognition. I've formatted, loaded the firmware, beta7, a few times and still nothing.

I'm not too worried about DRM since i dont have any, but i would really want to get my X5 synced with WMP. Are the any suggestions, cause i believe i've tried just about everything to get the X5 recognized through USB host.

I just upgraded the newest firmware onto my x5 and it seems to be working great. But when I open up WMP it still says no device found. Any suggestions?
