Default Connection troubles

Hello all, I just joined this forum now because I have a question concerning my iAudio 10's connection to my computer. When I connect it to my computer at my mother's house, I can choose to sync up the device, but on my father's computer I can only get the screen "BATTERY CHARGING/BATTERY FULL", where it synced up to the same computer multiple times before. Is this common, and can the iAudio 10 only connect properly to one computer? Thanks for any and all help you guys can give me

It might have something to do with the USB mode you are using? MTP mode seems to be something to do with digital rights management, whereas MSC seems to treat the device as an external USB drive. You can just change this in the i10 onboard settings.
