overheating

my q5w has been overheating as of late. it gets got enough to lock the hard drive. i thought it was the battery but i took the battery out and still have the problem. i am running fw 1.51 and app 1.82. has anyone else had this problem?

Mine gets hot too, I just try not to use it inside cradle (there it can get extremely hot), and don't recommend to leave device on some kind of cloth while watching films or playing games on it. The best way to cool it is to lay it on kinda-thick metal plate, or, if you haven't such a plate - just hold it in your hands.
