Engadget has more information, reported the player costs $304 USD and has been approved by the FCC. Hopefully this will reach the US and our friends in Europe soon. I have been waiting a long time for this player as I am sure others have also.

Flash UI and 4.3 inch, 480x267 tft LCD screen is nooooo good

A player with that big of a HD should have a much better screen for video watching.

Wow, what a fail...

No AMOLED, the touch screen is resistive (OMG), the resolution is 480x272 only, it only supports the same video codecs as the S9/J3.......

I mean, 160 gb and 4.3" screen is just MADE for video, if they'd wanted this to be a real sucessor of the X5 and kept video as a side feuture they should have put maybe a 3.2 inch screen (a J3 but with a HDD). Now its just a (probably) great music player with over sized screen.

Input Method - Touch Interface - Registive Touch Screen Interface

The word 'registive' doesn't exist, so I guess 'resistive' is meant.

I am still wondering where that spec sheet in English came from because at the Korean cowon website it doesn't mention anything about input method...

Also the English specs sheet falsely states that the flash is 1gb instead of 2gb stated at the Korean website.

I got it from a comment on the Engadget article so it might not be 100% secure.

The design is a step back: some kind of middle ground between the D2 and the S9. And the form factor/ergonomics look terrible.

The screen is a step back: resistive is D2/O2 technology.

The hard drive is a step back: Flash memory is the new thing. I'd be going wild if it had a solid state and kept the price reasonable.

The UI is an improvement: looks like Luna/Lunar designed it.

Three steps back + One step forward = NO GOOD
