So I'm tired. I plug my cellphone (Samsung Impression) in to charge it, and accidentally plug it into the Cowon USB cord (both my phone and the S9 use the PC to charge). Now, for some reason the Cowon USB fits my phone, but my phone's USB doesn't fit my S9.
Either way. Nothing happens, so I realize my mistake and unplug it. Now the Cowon USB cord doesn't work at all. I plug it into my PC and then my S9 and absolutely nothing happens. My S9 will even do the idle-turn-off. Great. I can't charge my S9 now either since it didn't come with a wall charger. Is there any way to get the stupid cable working again or should I drop the cash on a brand new cable? Is there anywhere I can buy it cheaper than the $15 most sites seem to be telling me? *sigh* |

Never mind! I managed to fix it by fiddling with the copper pins inside the wire with a sewing needle.
Note to anyone else! Don't cross the Samsung/Cowon streams! Bad stuff goes down. Last edited by Verilu; 11-02-2009 at 00:55.. |
