Default O2 got bricked

Just happened several hours ago, I was copying several movies to my O2, and during file transfer, O2 turned itself off and could not be recognzied as a USB device and could never be booted up again.

I tried hard reset (under the SD slot), and also tried the trick of "pressing volume+ - while power up", but nothing happened. the LED light is still off and the screen is still black.

I also tried to recharge the battery and see what would happen - and still, no miracles.

I also tried to connect it to USB port of my two laptops, and yet every time with every USB port, O2 still can not be recognized. (I connected it to my laptops in 3 months, and this is the first time that I had this issue)

Seems that nothing I can do except sending it for RMA... And... unfortunately I am in China -.- Wondering if Cowon US accepts international RMA requests or if I could send it to Cowon Korea for RMA- it was bought from JetAudio Amazon web store by my cousin..

Just registered and send a ticket to Cowon Customer Care service, waiting for the reply then~~

Ahhh, forgot to update this thread~ My O2 unbricked itself last weekend!

As I got a Samsung P3 after my O2 bricked, I left it in the corner of my room for 2 weeks. Last weekend~ when I was trying to pack up the O2 and mail it for RMA, I re-connected O2 to my computer, and the red led light flickered! And then after a full depth recharge and disk check and firmware update, now it is working properly.

Conclusion: if your O2 bricked itself and can not be unbricked with any effort, leave it aside for around 1 to 2 weeks before you decide to send it back for RMA, wait till the O2 fully discharged itself, and then reconnect it to computer / wall charger, it is quite likely that it will unbrick itself.

Suggestion: O2 internal memory is not hard drive, so DO NOT run sevral disk-access tasks simutainously ( I remember that I ran 2 to 3 file copies at the same time and quickly afterwards, it bricked)

P.S.: Samsung P3's playback sound quality is good, but soooooooooo electronic, not to my favor -.-
