Default No response from 02

Sorry, I searched the troubleshooting section and didn't see any posts there for this subject so I am not sure what forum to post.

I woke up this morning and my cowon 02 will not turn on. I had charged it full yesterday but then tried again today and the light does not come on. Basically it is completely unresponsive.

I bought this in Korea and I am not in the States. Am I totally screwed? Anybody know what I can do?

Thanks for the reply. Right before I read your reply I switched the lock button on and left the machine for a minute. When I came back it was on and functioning, but the red light does not come on when I put the charger in. It is definitely charging when the machine is on but the light does not come on.

Is there something buggy with the firmware or do a lot of the 02's have these issues. I really like this machine and don't want to get rid of it, but are there better machines out there with similar codec support (I use mostly for video and studying foreign language - I especially like the fact that you can change playback speed and would really need this in any machine I may buy (but don't want to) in the future.

Thanks again for your help!

Try this post.

Search not working?

The AC Adapter is faster and works better...Also make sure you have the latest FW installed.

remember the lights (neither power or charging) are on when the screen is on.
