Default Please make the "how to recover a bricked D2" sticky!

My D2 failed and I was despairing. I managed to find the post for "recovering a bricked D2 using tcctool" and now things are better.
For new D2 owners, having that post at the top of this forum area would have been very nice indeed.
Hopefully it doesn't happen to many people, but for those who need it, having it obviously visible might save a lot of pain.

To Dalmane98, the author of that post (and all associated folks who help in this forum) - you have my deep thanks.

It already is a sticky (and has been for quite a long time) http://iaudiophile.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=53

In future if you, or anyone, need to contact us please do it through PM, it's our preferred method of communication as we do not want to clog up the boards with request threads ya knows.

Of course if you need to contact us to request a sticky, look a little harder first

Blush Oops, sorry

Argh.
I didn't scroll down the front page, but headed straight into the troubles and problems forum. Hopefully other panicking D2'ers will have more presence of mind!
Apologies and many thanks again for the great forum and resource you all have here.
PS feel free to delete the thread to tidy things up, I won't be upset

I think I'll leave this thread here for now, hopefully some others will stumble upon it and realises that I'm a power hungry tyrannical maniac
