Hello, I bought my new M3L about 2 weeks ago and already the LCD on the remote control has broken due to a bizzare accident at the movie theater.

Anyways, I've tried contacting both suntec (there e-mail service is down or something) and iaudio about this and whether or not it fits the warrenty.

What should I do? If I need to buy another, where do I find one? (i'd prefer if it were inside the US if at all possible so I don't have to pay for oversea's shipping)

If it would be replaceable by the warrenty, how would I go about doing that?

thanks a lot!

-Trevor

I would imagine that if it broke due to a bizzare accident then it will not be covered by warranty, especially as you have announced it on a well read forum!

I need to write that guide - how to get fluid out of the M3 remote. But I'm guessing you crushed it or something.

Surely that counts as taking recording equipment into the cinema and could possibly be seen as a breach of copywrite regulations ;-)

I didn't realize it at the time.. I didn't record anything though. I was just listening to music on the way in there.. I will try and remember next time (I was carrying my M3 everywhere at the time)

I was watching The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and some lanky teenager tripped and smashed into my leg in which the screen was.

So yeah, I think it's fairly bizzare.

After I get this remote in the mail, is there any way to wrap it that others have tried that would make it last significantly longer? and protect against lanky teenagers?
