Thank you in advance for answering this question. It concerns using CDex to rip CDs to MP3.
I ripped a Drivin n Cryin CD to MP3 status...basically accidently - just poking around. When I tried to do the next CD, Jane's Addiction, I started getting this message: "File overwrite warning The file C:\...mydocuments\my music\MP3\Jane's Addiction - Nothings Shocking.mp3 already exists. Replace the existing file?..." I'm getting this message every time I try to rip a CD now. For those familiar with using CDex, what am I doing wrong? Its probably something simple. And thank you for reading this. |

I do own an X5 and love it.
I noticed in a sticky newbie thread that CDex was recommended to create MP3 files to play on my X5. I downloaded CDex and got stuck with this problem. I thought since there was a mention and a link to CDex in that newbie thread (and there is a tutorial for converting avi to X5 video format) that it was an appropriate question. I was hoping someone out there would be familiar with CDex and tell me what I'm doing wrong. |

I'd help if I could, but I use EAC myself.
Sounds like there may be something wrong with how the program is generating filenames based on tags though.
