I have made a huge mistake and formatted my X5 with NTFS format.
Although I backup the system files from the device, and placed it again after formatting, this thing didn't help I can't activate the device. I tried to download the firmware again and to install it with no success. When I connect the X5 to my PC he recognize it and he can use as a storage device but not as my favorite multimedia player Pleas someone help! |

Reformat the unit to the correct file system. NTFS isn't supported by Cowon devices.

I don't own an X5, but I can assume that if you follow the directions for installing a new firmware, it should work fine.
