Hello,
I'm looking to buy an X5 and found a 60gb for pretty cheap on Amazon, $279.99. It has this disclaimer on the listing: "Did you know? You may still purchase this product, but a newer version may be available. Explore alternative product suggestions below." Then below has a link to another X5 60gb for $349.99. I'm wondering if the cheaper one is an older model or if anyone possibly knows why it is so cheap? There's also a 60gb listed on jetmall.net with a remote and looks like the cradle for $319.99, is this a newer version? Any help would be appreciated, thanks _Scott Cheaper model: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...d-20/ref=nosim More expensive model: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...930896-5922803 Jetmall.net: http://www.jetmall.net/index.asp?Pag...ROD&ProdID=258 |

As far as I know, and X5 60GB is an X5 60GB. The X5 is already an older player so I would expect the prices to drop. Since Cowon is apparently not supporting further firmware development, I wonder why the prices are still so high. Anyway, JetMall does put together some decent packages, though, so don't rule them out.
