Default v1.85 vidro recording problem...

Since upgrading to firmware 1.85 I have not been able to successfully do a timed recording. It keeps freezing the video and corrupting the files. I have tried to format the hard drive and re-upgrade the firmware with no success. Right now I am trying a revert to v1.81 to see if that solves my problem.

Funny though, as my son has a 20gig A2 with 1.85 on it and has been able to record without any problem. I have the 30gig model. Any ideas or similar problems out there?

<edit> Forgot to mention, the video is 640x480, 1000kbps, 192kbps audio.

do you have enough free space in the HDD? if there is no space left for the video to be recorded, the player freezes.

Thats right, looks like the lack of HDD space, and I have seen it, the resulting file the A2 records looks currupt.
