Find name of unknown songs.

I woundering if anybody know a way to find out name of unknown songs. I have some rap music and i don't know anything else about them just the song lenght.

listen for the lyrics and type them in lyric sites or even google.. if you know the artist, it just makes it easier..

yes..cuz if you dont do that, its kinda impossible to find out their names..

Yes i did it just you know those rap songs, it's kind of impossible to understand the lyrics sometimes, or the title is really different. I spent many hours trying this way and i got about 5 songs name. The main problem is it's different artists and i don't know most of them.

download a program (such Jriver Media Center) that uses CDDB. Then all you have to do is to tell the program to do a search for you.

I am really curious to what song it is.. lol.. as a fan of hip-hop, I can tell u that there are a lot of remixes and remakes even.. is there a distinct style of the rapper ? and rappers like to mention their names and names of their "hommies" in their songs..

if u can send the song our way, like host on some website or something so we can listen we might help you. Other than that computers arent really smart enough to tell the info of a song by just 'listening' to it lol

Ok I will find out some way to find the names of the songs, but anyway i dont really like rap so i dont listen them very often and if i have about 20 without name is Ok.

In the uk there is a mobile phone service called Shazam which you hold your phone up after dialing the number and it sends you a text message with the name of the song, I wonder if there is a website that will do the same, i.e. you play the song and it tells you the artist??

CDDB will do it, go into Tag&Rename of a Tag writing program with CDDB and look it up.

If you ever hear a song you want to know the name to on a tv commercial or in a movie trailer try adtunes.com. Its a good site where people always find the name of the music you don't know.
