When I bought my iAudio X5 it was the last in the store and some things was missing; the User's Guide, the case and the installation CD. I wonder if there's a legal (and not too expensive) way to get JetShell and/or JetAudio.

You can get the users guide and basic JetShell/JetAudio programs off of cowonamerica.com. Unfortunetly the website doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

i dont think X5 (or any other iAudio) ships with jetAudio Plus version.
so, you can download the Basic version freely from www.cowonamerica.com yes. the site is down at the moment as well as the forums of it. I think they are upgrading something... |

PM me and I might be able to give you my CD S/N(I'm leaving tomorrow for vacation, so be quick). I don't need it. I don't know why you would want it; It's nothing special.

My X5 came with the basic version and I was damn pissed off. As a result I don't use JetAudio, why would I?
And that's about my only problem with my X5... |

may be you should contact cowon, and ask them what is going on.
why some people recieves jetAudio plus and some gets the basic version. certainly unfair, IMO. |

Wanna buy mine
.No no just kidding, it is kinda strange. Think they've stoped shipping the plus version after a while because it was not necessary or something. |

There's nothing special about the program. You can achieve the same functionality with another program(s).

what about the BBE & BBE ViVA effects?
these two are the BEST sound effects available, IMO. and using different programs can never be better than having everything nicely integreted in one program. thats why, jetAudio Rulz. |

I didn't install JetAudio for the longest time, then I thought I'd give it a try. With the same set of PC speakers, and the same MP3s ranging in bitrate levels, (not OGG files for example) I swear JetAudio sounded better.... crisper, clearer. I'd been using Winamp for years and switching to JetAudio was to my sense of hearing the way using a DVD player for the first time after using VHS for so long was to my sense of sight. I use Jetaudio exclusively now.
I have a G3 and it came with the Basic version. Last edited by Miaow; 01-17-2007 at 15:18.. Reason: typos! I hate typos! |

JetAudio sounds a hell of a lot better than WinAmp or WMP
