as for msc and mtp, its the two different types of transfer. you can find it under player settings/system (on a j3 at least)

maybe format it to FAT32?

the SOL folder is where the system stores all the settings in flash uis.
Check to make usre the mainmenu has a .swf ending. The other ui files should have .swf too. (EX music.swf, browser.swf. etc)

Yes- Id like to say that GTX was intended to be a sped-up XT, but never made it out of alpha. XT has everything needed to be a full functioned UCI

(the J3 will automatically reload its original firmware)
