In my experience the shuffle has improved...
In my experience the shuffle has improved dramatically over recent months - due entirely to the increased dexterity of my thumb which can now click the next track button at a much faster rate.

my advice would be to look on ebay for an old rotel or nad amplifier - you can get them for 20 quid and up depending on where you live. ditto a pair of good quality 1980s speakers for similar price....
