I had the same issue and had to return it to Cowon. They sent a refurbished one. It was still under warranty.

I'm still having problems...I tried a Factory Data Reset and Unmount internal memory>Format internal memory.

I've logged a ticket with Cowon/Jetaudio. Not sure what else to try.

Xman1 - does the iamoled.avi sample file work ok for you? It doesn't for me. I'm not sure what settings I used for my movies.

I have the same problem...with the previous...

I have the same problem...with the previous firmware and the new firmware. It happens with all my movies, so dont think it is the encoding.
