Know anyone in the US that you trust? It looks like Amazon has some refurb J3's for about half the price you would pay on the UK site (around $220 USD).

I don't blame you for the sticker shock on amazon UK, I just did the conversion of their £289.99 to USD, which converts to $449 USD.... Considering I paid $269 (on Amazon US) for mine a few months...

Aside from the fact it's $54, It's an electronic device that is for taking a scart input, and converting it to HDMI. It has a SCART input, but only outputs HDMI.

Scuba, do you have a set of headphones with a detachable cable? My V-Moda's do, which comes in handy. As I said, I pick up radio stations just fine with the 7' cord.

Both of those suppliers look like they do produce fine products, but unfortunately neither of them produce cases for any Cowon player, much less the J3 specifically. Sadly, accessory options suck...

I'm using my V-Moda LP2's, with a straight cable just under 7' long... It (the cable) works pretty well as an antenna. I pick up stations that are about 50 miles from where I am, YMMV.
