This worked for me too. USB lead into a USB wall charger - don't know the details but remember reading you get a higher voltage from that than just charging from a PC via USB.

Having said that, I've been at home the last few weeks off work and just picked up the X7...and its battery empty. I'll leave it plugged into the mains for a day or 2 to see if it will charge up...

Mine bricked and got replaced (posts on it here somewhere). I try not to let it go...

That and the hit and miss touch sensitivity are the 2 main issues. The good outweighs the bad though - once you have Sense installed. :-)

No worries - mine arrived quickly and I've kept the X7 in it ever since. The only time it needs to come out is to recharge/transfer files due to the fiddly hidden flap thing on the X7.
