I don't use MicroSD card with my J3, but fortunately I found a 64Mb(!) one in my old phone so I could test it: internal memory and sd card are both visible in FX browser on my phone, after unmounting...

Inso, galaxy s2 can output digital audio because of MHL support (hdmi via microUSB). Don't know why they are talking about usb-otg.
BTW Z2 doesn't support OTG.

There's an X9 user on russian forum who had similar problem. He just had to wait until his device fully discharged, then he connected it to charger and the player switched on.
