jetAudio for Android - without BBE?

According to Anything But iPod, Cowon silently removed both BBE and BBE ViVA from both the free and the paid version of jetAudio for Android.
Before that, jetAudio was alternately available and unavailable in the Google Play store. Nobody knew the reason, but now that BBE is gone, it's likely to assume that BBE Sound Inc. didn't like Cowon's plans and forced them to remove BBE from their app. Whether we will see it again in jetAudio is unknown - but without BBE, it's just a regular music app without significant selling points.

I thought it was missing something when it updated on my Tab 7.0 Plus. Stupid Cowon,...and they never communicate with their customer base.

According to BBE tech support, BBE does have plans to release an Android app this year akin ot their Sonic Max app for iPod/Pad/Phone. It may be that BBE doesn't want to compete with JetAudio for sales of apps including BBE technology.

Well, the settings studio is quite good with a lot of settings.
Equalizers with profiles possibility is good for me and better tha any other player...

However, as free version with BBE has been available, it is surely possible to find the apk file somewhere :)

But the pro version wasn't even released with BBE, so all we can get is the free version with BBE being limited to 20 seconds.

I and takhama meant initially. At the moment, neither pro nor free have BBE.

Small info: Yesterday Cowon released an update and now jetAudio (both Free and Plus) supports FLAC 24/96. Still no BBE, though.

huh? what android player can properly decode 24/96?

So, any update on finding that .apk file with BBE?

The SonicMax Pro version for Android is quite lacking, not the BBE I remember.

Seriously though, if someone were able to make a great sounding BBE app I would pay up to $50 if it made it sound anything like a Cowon. maybe even $100

I have bougth jetaudio 1.9.3 plus and no BBE . What i do not understand is how it is a crack version with bbe / viva enabled ?

I send email to programmer and told me that no bbe effect in the plus version . [cry]
Do you know if this is forever or maybe in the next version we have bbe effects ?.

Hey, no apparently the BBE people dont like jetaudio people, don't really know the details, but my guess is the app will never get the BBE enhancement. Try finding the apk online.

I don't think jetaudio will ever get BBE officially.

Hey the mod will probably take down links... I think, even if it is to your google repository. Do you do these yourself (grab the jetaudio source and unlock the BBE effects... or something of the sort)?
