Wow...2.53! Thought 2.51 would be the last FW... Guess Cowon hasn't abandoned us S9 owners yet.

It's a LAN Party oriented rig. I even have the LAN bag+carrying case for the rig (though it's bigger so it's loose).

And I put in Windows 7. So far was hoping to attend two LAN events around Chicago here this week, but the event organizers still haven't said a word about event details (like place and time), so I'm waiting on their slowpoke cupcakes.

No, unless you count XBOX 1 and a old PS1. I don't go online with any of them. Wii's still in the picture for the future, just don't know when.

"How was the concert?"

It was pretty good. Wish they had used better speakers because when Jon started on his wails, he'd be hitting high octaves that the speakers would just cut off so you end up with a shrill whine instead of the clarity of his high-note voice. He went through quite a few songs (think 10-12) in the hour and half he was on stage. I wanna say 1/3 was from his first CD, the rest was a mix between his 2nd CD and beyond. He even did the song "Party in the USA" and the track he wrote "for himself but gave to Ricky Martin instead" (still think that was a fail. -.-).

Other than that, wish the 6-7 assholes behind were never born. They kept spilling their alcoholic drinks all over my legs and feet, shoving me in the back because they're having a mini-party and texting people while pretending to listen to Jon Secada on stage. >:|

Granted, it was a free general admission concert during a festival, but still...pricks.

I've been doing okay. And before you ask, no I haven't done anything with my proposed UI. I'm thinking of scrapping the design and starting anew considering the two/three new PMPs Cowon has released in the last few months (J3, V5, i9). Just need to get out of my lazy spell and actually play around with the UI code.

Otherwise, been hanging with friends, built a new LAN gaming rig partly from leftover parts from my recent upgrade. Just ordered a Clip+ that I intend to use for the gym and to take on trips so I don't scratch and bang my D2 or S9. Oh and just got back from a free Jon Secada concert in uptown Chicago.

I'm still using what must now be a old version of Aero Ultimate G2 v1.00 Beta 2 with FW 2.50. What's the latest now FW 2.52? Any other major UI come out for the S9? Or has mostly everyone abandoned the S9 for the J3?

How about you? Get any new toys (like maybe the V5 or the J3)? How's your summer?

Well, there's no dedicated volume up/down and track forward/back buttons like the s9, but there is a rocker button on the left side that lets you turn the volume up/down as well as change tracks.
