i know...i know people hear differently etc...some dude at worked and looked at me like i was crazy when i told him cd players all sound different. i work in a tech electronics field so for him it's all math. for me it's math and listening. i dont mean to offend but i sometimes wonder if people hear the same things i do.

half of the crap posted in supposed high end home audio forums are completely bogus. which tells me those guys are liars and deaf.

obviously i like the x5 for what ever reasons. it's not perfect but it holds number 1 place for me. got it tuned with the grado sr80 and am pretty happy. i tried and tried and tried to tune the i7 to come close to the x5 and it cant. a/b comparison. exact same song...even the same settings on eq make them sound completely different.

oh well, ive rambled a bit...
