At the moment my first priority is to complete my own coverflow uci to get that off my chest... Maybe I'll do that first and you then decide if you want something similar or not?

Any actionscript source code that I've written can be used in your project, I have no problem with that. However I hope you realize that using my coverflow requires the user to execute a batch processing program that creates the cached artwork database. It is strictly folder based and doesn't support embedded artwork. I'm not sure about this but these restrictions might exclude more than half of potential users...
