Hey Kizu! Text recovered!!
"The following errors occurred with your submission: 1. the text that you have entered is too long (4476 characters). Please shorten it to 1000 characters long." Lolololol!!!
So I will have to send it in chunks. As you are offline by now, I will post it backwards, from last paragraph to first, so that you may easily read it when it shows up here. Too funny, but I'm happy I found a way to recover it!
BTW.: Recovered by scrolling through pages backwards (back button). Didn't think it would work, but it did!

I saw your conversation with Da1writer about your new Nexus 7 tablet. Congratulations! I've been doing a LOT of tablet research lately myself, and by all accounts, the Nexus 7 is one of the best tablets on the market right now. Don't feel bad about that new Kindle HD. Amazon put that on the market to directly compete with the Nexus 7. They're very similar tablets, and the only edge for the Kindle HD is the Amazon infrastructure it has. If you're not heavily invested in Amazon already, you're just as well off or better with the Nexus 7.
I just ordered my new tablet yesterday! I'm getting the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. I found the need for a tablet earlier this year, and started researching them back in February, which is when I heard that Samsung would be making this tablet. It finally launched on August 16th. I have spent most of the last few weeks trying to read every review on the Web, and doing other research into the Android OS, apps, and whatever else I could find. I've been busy!
This tablet is the only one I've found that will let me take notes/write stuff and give me the ability to draw and create art. It comes with a Wacom equipped stylus that responds to 1,024 levels of pressure. It also comes pre-loaded with Photoshop Touch and some other proprietary programs to let you use the stylus for writing; and as an added bonus: It has forward facing speakers and a Wolfson DAC chip! Without looking at the series number of the chip, I think it may even be the same DAC that's in the Cowon J3!! Now, if I can find a version of BBE for Android that I can download to the tablet, I'll be set!
Through my research, I've realized the major difference between this tablet and all the others (which is really why I wanted it, and why I started researching tablets in the first place): Tablets are designed for one thing: Media consumption. They exist to get you to buy things. Apps, movies, books, etc. So you pay hundreds of dollars for a device that will make it easier and more convenient for you to continue spending money constantly after your initial several hundred dollar investment. Yes, I know there's more to it than that, but the people who make these things are seeing it more like how I've just stated. Looking at things a little differently sometimes can give you valuable insight, and help you greatly in life, but you already knew that I'm sure.
Anyway, the thing that's different about the tablet I'm getting is that it's made for media creation as well as consumption. That's the deciding factor for me.
There are other good features as well, that I haven't mentioned, plus some drawbacks, such as poor build quality; but overall I'm quite psyched for it! I think having it will help me in a variety of ways, especially since I'm a student again. So when I read that you had just gotten a tablet too, and found that it was a great help to you even though you thought it wouldn't be, I just had to share.
I also just wanted to say hello, as I have not been around here for awhile. I've been apprehensive that I would have a great deal of catching up to do, but it looks like I haven't missed a lot, as you seem to be pretty busy these days, as well.
I'll try to come back here soon and get caught up, but I have the feeling that my art classes this semester will soon take over my life. So, if I'm not around for a while, don't think it's because I've forgotten about you & the others here! In fact, I met another student at school who is studying to be able to create UI's for mobile devices, so I immediately told him all about you and this site.
I hope you are doing well, Kizu; and please don't give up on Cheetah GTX! I'll return here as I am able. Enjoy your new tablet!
