I actually "found" a pair of padded earphones while cleaning out my room once. Not sure how they got in here, but from some comparison (as well as it being conveniently labeled) I've determined that these are Sennheiser MX300s. They're pretty old from what I gather.
I tried googling them, but save from manufacturer's info, the documentation on these seems pretty scarce. Nonetheless, the sound on these easily surpasses that of the packaged Creysn earbuds of my X5L. With some sound settings tweaked, it actually produces a relatively respectable bass.
Now, I was considering splurging a few dollars on an MX400 but now that I found these I'm not entirely sure such a purchase is justified. Besides the extra silver trim and retractable case, the differences seem negligible. It'd be a good thing if these were at least about as usable.. I can't bring my clunky HD's around to school as I won't have a backpack or any form of storage for the upcoming week. If the differences were pretty much only restricted to the trim and case, that's fine; I prefer flat black and have no need for the case.
Anyone have any info about these off the top of their head? I'm just a little curious and I don't want to waste any money on new MX400's if I don't need too (tight budget).
