View Full Version : I need some good ear-clips. KSC75s don’t fit me.

I got some Koss KSC-75s today and although they sound nice, they don’t fit securely on my ears at all (they fall right off the back of them).

Does anybody know of some earclips that are on the same level of sound quality as the KSC-75s, for a compareable price (or maybe just under $30, at least)?

The KSC-35s look more promising. They get good reviews for staying on while the "new Coke" version of them, the KSC-50s, fell off the reviewer's ears. The KSC-35s are supposed to have spring-loaded clips. The KSC-75's clips are floppy, so the KSC-35s will hopefully be a world of difference.

The clips on the KSC75 are adjustable (the KSC35 are not, and that's likely why they don't use the same clips--the KSC75 clips are certainly more expensive). Bend them to fit your ears.

The KSC35 clips are not spring-loaded. Each one is a single piece of plastic.

Hey, it worked! Previously, I tried bending them but they sprang right back, so I thought they might be designed for only people with hughmongous ears. Following what you said, I bent them with gusto this time and they stayed. Thanks!

Now I won’t have to spend $30+ ordering KSC-35s (mostly available directly from Koss). These KSC-75s were $20 at Circuit City. They recently removed them from the Circuit City website inventory, and I bought the only pair that my local store had. So people reading this, who want them from a local CC store should go check out the situation in person.
