Hello, Great Forum everybody, I've just got my a2 two weeks ago.
Little problem I've discovered yesterday-
My a2's hd is already 80% full, and when I record something bigger than the capasity left, the unit hangs and the file vanishes. One would think that when it hits the limit, is simply stops recording and saves the file as is. but it doesn't... did someone encounter this before? what do we do?
As a result of that I was interested to know whether it is possible (now or with a firmware) to accomplish the following tasks:
*To use the PC's hard drive to save recordings directly. When the A2 is connected via usb, and then not to be limited to the free space on the unit's drive. (as I see it, someone at cowon ought to think of that)
*second one is to use the same setting (tv conncted to a2, a2 connected to Pc) to watch tv on the pc. without capturing... That's somehow less realistic, but even more desireble. Is there a way to get cowon to think about this option?
Thanks very much.
