Just thought I'd let everyone know that as of now, MisticAudio is out of stock for the X5L cases. Jeff said that it's doubtful that they will get any more of the X5L cases. This is due to the fact that they have to made a certain minimum number at a time and the 'relative age' of the X5L since it was released. Therefore, he didn't think there would still be enough future orders of the X5L cases to warrant making another run of them.
They still have X5 cases available though....
So went ahead and took the plunge and just ordered a Noreve case.... hope it's OK....

it should be ok, in fact, it might even be the same case. someone just posted pictures of their misicaudio x5l case, and it looks identical to my noreve case, only with different markings. they even have the same slight misalignment.

Hmmm....that's an interesting observation, Arachnophilia....
Maybe someone could send me their MisticAudio X5L case so that I could compare them side by side...

I've compared them side by side. My mom bought an X5L (yes, my mom - she's cool :coolio:) with a Misticaudio case and I have the Noreve case. The only difference is that her case has the Misticaudio logo imprinted on the back, and mine has the Noreve logo on the front, which is basically a metallic, shiny button. They both have the same type of screw on belt clip, and both snap in the back. The leather on the Misticaudio case feels a bit different (slightly softer), but overall the two cases are virtually identical.

Just received my Noreve X5L case this morning. Very quick service and shipment.
Overall, very nice case. Fits X5L quite snugly and leather/stitching is good. Cutout locations are pretty good, but not perfect, but still OK.
Definitely worth having...

Question goes to MrMec, which case is better in your opinion, the misticaudio case or the noreve case?
In my experience they're virtually identical.
If they are almost identical, I would go for the MisticAudio case as it's alot cheaper.
Agreed. I bought the Noreve case only because the Misticaudio site was down for quite some time, leaving me no choice but to get the Noreve case. But Misticaudio is cheaper so that's the way to go, though if X5L cases are no longer available I guess it's not an option...?
