Totally! I love knowing that I'll never have the power management issues that USB-charged devices have. I also love being able to charge my audio device battery and my digital camera batteries in the same charger, even in my car! I only give devices consideration if they are AA-powered flash devices. Nothing else is as optimal.

I do like the fact the G3 uses a disposable AA battery, especially since I have ~30 that my kids have used only 10 - 30 % of the life then discarded. I probably won't have to use rechargables for a year or so. But what I really like is the bookmark feature. I can switch between audio books and music without having to navigate or remember where I was. With the increasing popularity of digital media players and audiobooks, I am surprised more manufacturers do not include the bookmark feature in their line. The selection of several models with bookmark capability is what got me to purchase an iAudio. Everything else about the player is fine so far as well. Two Thumbs UP :bigthumbs :bigsmile:

The biggest and most used feature for me is the bookmark feature!!!!!!!!!

My only gripes are poor recording via line in or even FM. And of course, the inability to connect an external mic. But I guess I am asking for too much...:winker:

I would love to be able to use an external mic. Of course for what I want it for, I'd need dual recording level meters, higher bitrate encoding, and 4+GB of flash. And of course the 650-file/50-folder limit fixed. Hardware-based OGG support too. Then again, I've been asking for this stuff all along. It would give me just about everything I can think of for a personal audio device.
