does anyone have wintv? i've been using it for a couple months and really enjoy it. i was just wondering if you all use it and what settings you use for the best file size and quality compromise.
its a good way to get videos for the X5, as you can record any tv show or movie that comes on.
I record some stuff sometimes, using VirtualDub over a Radeon TV-In. At the moment I'm playing with the idea of setting up a MythTV (http://www.mythtv.org/) box. It seems to be a pretty good open-source DVR solution.

Chubbycool, here's a how-to to get the best quality from analogue TV-recordings: http://www.doom9.org/capture/start.html
It really makes a difference if you do it like that.

im also testing wintv, it has the option to save in avi format, this video must be converted using virtualdub, if you use wintv your video gets a better audio level, i can't get a good audio level just using virtualdub(Capturing the video from my cardtv). I think wintv is a good option!
