Jimmy Hendricks wrote and performed 'Little Wing'.

In my mind... Stevie Ray Vaughn's Studio Remake of this song is my favorite ever! I have never ever felt a song like it. Stevie Ray's (non-vocal) version is some of the best guitar mastery that I have ever heard! I hope that ya'll can experience this masterpiece!

Both Jimmy & Stevie are MUSIC GODS! I hope they are resting in peace! :notworthy

I also prefer the SRV version over the original. It's just got something that the original lacks.

I'd pich SRV as well, but my favorite SRV song definately is tin pan alley.
