I would like to convert a video in mp4 format.Possible???:

Depends which way you want to go. If you wish to encode to the .mp4 container; the easiest method is to use Nero.

If you need to convert from .mp4 container to the .AVI container the process is much more difficult. I have run into audio synch issues and unsupported video codecs. I wish there was a fail safe approach; I have had the best results using MP4Cam2AVI, they will play on my A2 but not on my Lacie Silverscreen due to unsupported Codec.
