Cowon Markt share

I just saw this chart while looking at the presentation of the new H10 player from iRiver:

If that pie chart really is true, that means that Cowon has a 6 percent market share (in Korea I am guessing).

The chart on the right would be the total exports of flash, hdd and the combined export from Korea (larger bar). The smaller bar would be the percentage of export that iRiver contributes.

I think Cowon is going to be doing some massive catching up soon. :-)

this is true... most Koreans prefer iRiver over Samsung Yepps and Cowon iAudios.

Apple holds 90% of total market share in the US, is the Ipod really that impopular in Korea? Guess I will start moving there :P

from where i've been, seoul>>deajeon, i've never seen one with an iPod.

but there might be one. most koreans just like the flash players, because they're small. strange... im korean but i like hdd :D
