HI,
I just got my a2 yesterday. I saw it can take photos from dig cameras, imagining it isnt a problem for jpegs from most cameras. WIth a Nikon digital slr, you can take nef images (raw)... Any thoughts on if this will be supported as well? Perhaps you can offload them to the unit, (if you were on a trip and ran out of compact flash cards- you could offload and use as a hard drive), I'm guessing it would accept .nef files, but perhaps just not display them.

It would be great if it would do both. Thoughts or anyone know if this is on the pipeline?

Thanks.

I seriuously doubt that Cowon will ad support for raw image file format support for different digital cameras. Much to hard to code, probably propriatery and not enough users needing such a feature (seriously, how many people out there take pics in raw format AND have an A2?).

I understand what you are saying.... If you upload nef (raw) images you can use the cowon a2 as disk storage though for them, correct?

Hi
Yes I can upload both raw images, and jpegs. Raw because so much bigger takes longer and just uses space. It would be a nice thing if they did support raw sometime but hardly a number one priority.

And the D70 is recognized (so thats a great thing) for me.
