Hey guys. Installed 1.49c. A2 now crashes a bit more often :winker: beta...

Did anyone experienced a problem with AVIs, where the aiudio (mp3) is encoded as VBR. Most of the files (not all, thou) play only up to 10-12 sec. on my A2, and then it scrolls to the next file (avi) in folder.

When I took the audio track, recomressed back to WAV, than compressed it back to mp3 with CBR - works fine... (most of times)

When I use the "Conver Video" from iAudio jetToys - VBR audio tracks (as well as some CBRs (!!!) ) they get unsynchronized with the video, the audio "skews".

weird... all my movies are encoded with MP3 VBR 128kbps and work perfectly (still using 1.39C)

I wonder if you are not using a good encoder? Try using one based on the LAME MP3 encoder,
there are many freeware tools that use it.
If I remember correctly, I think that some MP3 encoders screw up with VBR (Xing comes to mind)

I highly suggest AutoGK to encode video for all newbies!
