problem with iaudiox5l and canon powershot s70

i´ve got an new iaudio x5l and i wanted to connect me digicam canon powershot s70 with the mp3 player. but the player can´t fint the cam. on the official website from cowon is alist with digicams that are compatible with the player. can someone help me to connect my cam.

Have you updated your firmware to a more recent version?

I haven't tried in a few firmware upgrades so I hooked up my X5L to my S70 just now. Connected via the side connector on the X5L. Switched to USB Host mode on the X5 and then hit the REC button. Switched to the S70 after a couple of minutes. It can take some time the first time the X5 has connected in a while - and it is a USB 1.1 interface. I've also got a 1Gb memory card in the camera which makes it longer. Also, the hourglass doesn't really spin while it checks things out with the camera memory. Other than that, it connects pretty easily.

Using firmware 2.10b7-e.

Couple of minutes??? Whoa! I tried connecting my A20 a while back, but nothing was happening for about a minute, so I just assumed the X5 can't talk to the A20. Maybe I should have tried longer.
