Unfortunate news for my A2. While playing a song that i've had for months and has worked fine on every player i've had, my A2 freezes. Holding the power button for 9 seconds (as the manual suggests for crashes) my player shuts down as it should, however I noticed several dark lines on the screen as if they had been burned in. Turning it back on, plugging it in to the AC adapter, plugging in the USB cable, and trying to reset the firmware did nothing. Oddly enough however, the computer is still able to read it as a hard drive. I shall be calling Cowon soon about the subject, and hopefully they can resolve this problem.

I'd had similar issues with my A2 too, but soft-boot or hard-boot usually took care of the freezing & hard-lines on the screen. didnt know what went wrong (proll due to corrupt files or something) but my A2 operated normally since then....

yeahp I had exactly the same problems.... there's a thread somewhere detailing what happened, and what I did to fix it....

It starting working again for no reason. Also, when I turned it on it immediately shut off (low battery). Hmm...bug maybe?
